Why do I need travel insurance?

Voyager Plus Travel Insurance is for those travelling by motorcycle for all or just part of their holiday. Don't assume all travel insurance policies cover you while riding a motorcycle over 125cc - most don't!

And remember, travel insurance is for YOU, you still need to insure your motorcycle.

Please be aware that an additional Activity pack is required to cover Motorcycling – please check the online journey to select the right one for you or call 01483 806680 for help. There are specific exclusions relating to Motorcycling. Please make sure you have checked the General Exclusions and Conditions on page 31 & 32 of the policy wording.

Section 4 Personal Accident: You are not covered for a. Claims resulting from motorcycling (i.e. compensation for injuries, you are covered for your emergency medical expenses and repatriation)
Section 7 Baggage: You are not covered for h. loss or theft or damage and vii. sports clothes and equipment whilst in use. 
Personal Liability You are not covered for b. any liability for: iii. bodily injury or damage caused directly or indirectly in connection with the ownership, possession or use by you (or on your behalf) of mechanically propelled vehicles (other than golf buggies use on golf course and not on public roads) or any aircraft, hovercraft, watercraft (other than nonmechanically powered watercraft less than 30 feet in length used on inland waters). (This is covered by the liability section of your vehicle insurance.)
